 the Visiting Lecturer Program in Statistical ScienceProgramThe Visiting Lecturer Program in Statistics is sponsored by the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS) and has been operating continuously since 1953. The Program is supported jointly by the principal statistical organizations in North America: the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the Eastern and Western North American Regions of the International Biometric Society, and the Statistical Society of Canada. Leading statisticians - from universities, industry and government - have agreed to participate as lecturers. The program is available to schools and other interested groups in the continental U.S.A and Canada.
