Project Update - February, 2002
1. RESEARCH ON DATA SWAPPING. As part of a study for NCES that complements the DG project, NISS is undertaking a detailed study of data swapping. The perspective, building on other work on the project, incorporates both disclosure risk (via record linkage) and data utility (as measured by distortion of tabular data summaries between the pre- and post-swapped microdata).
