The initial term of appointment will for two years, beginning early in 2012.

Based on performance, the position is eligible for subsequent reappointment and promotion in rank is possible.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Official Statistics

Duke University and the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS) are about to initiate a large-scale, federally-funded research program in methodology for official and survey statistics. Duke and NISS plan jointly to appoint a postdoctoral fellow who will play a central role in the research. The appointment will be for a one-year contract with expectation of renewal for a second year, beginning in the fall of 2011 or in 2012.

University of Florida - Assistant/Associate Professor

University of Florida, Department of Statistics, Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences, has an opening for ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, starting as early as July 1, 2011. 

PhD in statistics or related with teaching and applied collaborative research interests required.  Review begins February 15, 2010 and continues until suitable applicant is indicated.

To continue expanding its scale, impact and relationships with the statistical sciences community, NISS seeks to appoint an energetic, visionary individual as its Research Triangle Park—based Deputy Director. This person will also serve as Associate Director of the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI), and may in addition hold a faculty appointment at one of the Research Triangle universities.
