The Biostatistics Center of the George Washington Milken Institute School of Public Health is recruiting for a full-time open-rank tenure-track or tenured faculty. The successful candidate will develop a program of sponsored research at the Center with an academic appointment in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Milken Institute School of Public Health. Academic rank and salary are competitive and will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and self-funding support. The successful candidate will establish an externally funded, internationally recognized, and interdisciplinary research portfolio in clinical trials, epidemiological, diagnostic studies, controlled trials in educational research, or may extend to other areas of research such as forensic statistics. The portfolio may include development of expertise and leadership in the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of collaborative research in areas such as oncology, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, neurology, drug addiction, or other areas of medicine. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of statistical or clinical trial/diagnostic study methodologies. Areas of interest may include but are not limited to: pragmatic trials, SMART trials, and multi-arm multi-stage designs. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Center and DEB through teaching, mentoring students, or departmental service.
