Jerry Reiter is Professor of Statistical Science at Duke University. He received a PhD in statistics from Harvard University in 1999. He has collaborated with NISS almost continuously since arriving at Duke in 2002, including work on the Digital Government project and the NCRN project. He works extensively with the Census Bureau and other federal agencies, focusing on problems in statistical disclosure limitation, missing and faulty data, and data integration. He is a Fellow of the ASA, a recipient of the Gertrude Cox Award, and recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Postdoc mentor and 2007 Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award at Duke.
