Lu Chen

NISS Position: 
Research Associate

Lu Chen is a postdoctoral fellow for NISS, working with the National Agricultural Statistical Service (NASS). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in Nankai University, China and Master of Science in Finance degree in Clark University.  She earned her Ph.D. of Statistics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. 

Lu's research interests include:

  • Bayesian Statistics;
  • Small Area Estimation;
  • High Performance Computing in Bayesian Statistics.
