ASA Virtual Mentoring Round Table

Are you a student studying statistics or early in your career as a statistician working with surveys or survey data?  Then perhaps you would like to hear career advice, learn about opportunities, or ask questions about being a survey statistician with our distinguished panel of career statisticians.

Jeri Mulrow - Vice President & Director of Statistical and Evaluation Sciences at Westat
Wesley Yung - Assistant Director in the Business Survey Methods Section of Statistics Canada.
Polly Phipps - Senior Survey Methodologist at Bureau of Labor Statistics (retired)
Jenifer Parker - Director, Division of Research and Methodology at National Center for Health Statistics

These panelists have decades of experience working with surveys and the collected data as well as managing and mentoring survey statisticians.  This is a great opportunity for anyone considering or already in a career in survey statistics.

The meeting will be conducted over Microsoft Teams.
