Megan Glenn is originally from Washington, D.C. and received her BS Environmental Studies degree from Keene State College in New Hampshire. Her expertise involves event coordination, daily office management, arranging logistics, utilizing databases, conducting research and compiling data on scientific matters primarily within environmental and natural resource conservation.
Prior to joining NISS as the Administrative Assistant in Washington, DC in January of 2020, Megan enhanced her skills in outreach & communications while working with a women’s empowerment organization, The Lady Alliance, through creating and leading events, as well as building a membership base through community engagement initiatives. She formerly assisted the IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature, with coordinating workshops, research, office management and provided assistance with assessing the threatened status of biodiversity with IUCN while working within their IUCN-CI (Conservation International) Biodiversity Assessment Unit.
Megan is delighted to come on board as the Administrative Assistant to support NISS with enhancing office operations.
